At long last, i've ordered my new graphics card. It took 5 attempts on ebay to sell the old one. Plus i've i had some unexpected Bills to pay. I've ordered BFG 7800GS 256 CARD.
 What do i change my autoexec file back to? Also will my heap be able to play ut3 and tf2? thxs for your help.

if I were you I'd keep my autoexec as it is (with the tweaked settings), the more fps the better!

if the pc doesnt turn itself on when u press the power button it's most likely the psu. if another psu fails as well it's prolly your mainboard...

AMD or Intel doesn't really matter. At least Dual-core (Quad-core would be even better of course but that'll cost ya)

I'd go for a minimum of 2GB RAM.

Just go as high as you can afford tbh Wink

Yeah, The Memory prices are very low at the moment. So i think 2 gig's or even 4 gig's of ram are a good option.
But do keep in mind that u need an 64Bit O.S. if u go above 3.2 gig's of RAM.

Tell me about it. I spent about ?140 on that card. I'm hoping to get a good card in the pc when I buy it. Is a Nvidia 8500 gt 1024mb any good?

For gaming i would take the 8600GT or above... the 8500GT just can't cut it at newer games in decent resolutions. (Didnt know the 8500GT came with 1024 btw,)

And de 8600GT and above runs the newer games at a reasonable resolutions for a very reasonable price!
